The SRM Group
 

One of the loveliest spots on Earth – Royal Southern Hotels came into being on January 1995. It was founded by the SRM group that runs several educational institutions. From then, it has enticed the visitors who have graced the premises of this enchanting place. Her beauty and charm is an ever captivating mark of her personality.

The SRM Group is named after Thiru Ramasamy who is the late father of Thiru T.R. Pachamuthu – the founder and chairman of Valliammai society. The society was named after his mother who was his great source of inspiration. The Valliammai society runs several institution under the name of Thiru Ramaswamy.
   
 

In 1981, the society took over the Nightingale Matriculation Higher School. The SRM Group ventured into higher education with the launch of the Valliammai Polytechnic. SRM Engineering College came into being on 1985. It is one of the prestigious institutions in Science and Technology. As new branches were added every year, the College grew into a full-fledged engineering college encompassing all disciplines of technical education.

The SRM Institute of Hotel Management at Tirchi and Chennai offers its students the benefit of a deluxe hotel attached to each of the institutes. Later the SRM Group also launched the SRM Dental College, SRM Polytechnic, SRM Institute of Management and Technology and a host of other institutions.

The group continuously sees profound growth as it resolves to offer every possible branch of higher learning.
